Can you match these Christmas movie actors to the classic TV shows they starred in?

Actors in festive flicks from 'It's a Wonderful Life' to 'Elf' — yes, 'Die Hard' included — also appeared in hit shows.

It's a tradition for many people to rewatch their favorite festive movies during the holiday season. You may have seen a certain film countless times, but did you notice if it featured any classic TV stars?

Here are ten actors who appeared in Christmas movies at one point in their careers — some early on, many after they were already famous. Can you match each actor with the show they starred in?

  1. This 'It's a Wonderful Life' star had her own show.
  2. He played Santa in the modern classic 'Elf' but is best known for his role in which sitcom?
  3. He made a heroic cameo in 'Scrooged' alluding to his past in which action series?
  4. This 'Miracle on 34th Street' actor was in the main cast of two popular sitcoms. What was his 2nd series?
  5. He played a doctor in the festive dark comedy 'Mixed Nuts' but first starred in which sitcom?
  6. This actor appeared in 1947's 'It Happened on 5th Avenue' then later starred in which sitcom?
  7. His portrayal of Ralphie's dad in 'A Christmas Story' has become iconic. Which Seventies show did he star in?
  8. Her very first role was a small part in 'A Christmas Carol' alongside her real-life parents. She grew up to star in which show?
  9. He played a police officer in 'Jingle All the Way' but is famous for which Sixties show?
  10. For everyone who likes to mix Christmas with explosions, this 'Die Hard' actor also starred in which sitcom?

Can you match these Christmas movie actors to the classic TV shows they starred in?

Loved all the quizzes. Did pretty good on most, 10/10 on a few. Bombed on the one about shows starting in the 80's or 90's.

I don't see my score for this one, but I also don't see any pink. I'm guessing that I got a 100.

Some sites have this at 1946 and others 1947. Happens when they are producing and finished near the end of the year and it might not show until the next.
Well, obviously we missed the quiz 🤪 Fell asleep and woke up at 10:17pm. Guess we got too comfy on the couch 🤷‍♀️😂

MQ 12/17/2021.
Opening starts off with some Christmas Carols sung by a musical group. Jingle Bells first and others following. Movie is a holiday mystery. The odd thing is the way the movie is produced. The first major movie to try such a way of performing that is not of the norm. You'll notice right off and it continues through out. Name of movie is a little bit off from a holiday themed one. It is in the lines of Crime, Film-Noir, Mystery. So let's get on the ball then everyone can watch this. Actors are known in the time period but not so much now. Is it a Merry Christmas story.......Not really but takes place during the holidays and some nice music here and there. Is there a crime..........Yes and you might try and solve it yourself.

You got 10 out of 10 - Did you fill up on right answers or did some slip through your fingers? Pretty easy quiz. Almost didn't recognize Robert Conrad in #9 (I never saw the movie). He looks great. Always liked him.
