I had to find hotels for both sons. Younger son was at SHSU and he and his roommate were literally freezing in their 2nd story apartment—they didn’t have electricity for 36 hrs. At that point I phoned the university hotel and they had electricity and plenty of rooms. I booked them a room and they packed and walked the 8 blocks—it was safer. They took my son’s cat too.
My older son had rolling blackouts at TAMU but his downstairs flooded from a neighbor who didn’t drip water. I called the Aggie hotel and got them a room. Both had to stay a week in the hotels—State Farm reimbursed it.
I loved the snow, but I think all the future snow in my life needs to be in pictures—I’m cold-natured year round—always wear socks! I was miserable in 2021.
I have to watch Rudolph before I return, so see you in a bit!
Love the scene when Bones "Spock, I'm just an old country doctor" and Mr. Spock replies, "yes, doctor as I have always suspected" love Spocks sense of humor.
