When Kirk and Spock beamed down and realized they were naked, Scotty wouldn't beam em' back up because they had no transporter curtain.

9/10. In Gene Roddenberry's original story he had Socrates, Attila the Hun and Adolph Hitler.
Sarak was to be called Lvov.
Colonel Green's uniform was modified and reused as Robin Williams outfit on Mork & Mindy.
Final time we see the dress uniforms for the Enterprise officers.
The producers wanted Mark Lenard for the role of POTUS Abraham Lincoln.
The original script by GR was a sour commentary on the TV networks and how "stage plays" made the population use them as their sole means for knowledge and entertainment.
Leonard Nimoy did not think highly of this episode. He felt that it was "an interesting attempt that did not come to life."
I think Lee Bergere made a much better Lincoln than Mark Lenard would have.
