A character’s name can say a lot about them. Are they named after a place? A family member? Do they shorten their name to just initials? There are multiple reasons why someone might answer yes to that last question. Their first name could be two names put together, they may not like their given name or they're just too cool for full names.
Here are 10 TV characters known by just two letters. Can you guess what those letters stand for?
-

On Roseanne, the son always went by D.J. They rarely called him by his name
Eight out of ten. Missed #8 and #9. I watched The Nanny and I don't remember anybody ever mentioning what Miss Babcock's initials stood for--I plead ignorance on #9 because I've never seen an episode of Saved By The Bell. Of course, I've never watched Full House or Baywatch either and I got those right...and just when did they ever mention BA's middle name on The A-Team? The only thing his mama said about it was that she used to call him Scooter!
I didn’t know B.A.’s middle name but I remember him being called Bosco once or twice. Maybe it was the episode where he went to help his mom.
I also remember A.C. Slater being mocked by Zack (Morris is trash) about being a Albert. I think a good rule of thumb is to assume anyone with initials on television will have the most unique or goofy name behind them. I forgot that rule when it came to DJ Tanner.
