Try not to "Wipe Out" and shed "96 Tears."
Nothing beats Sixties pop music. No wonder we're still all listening to it half a century later.
We all remember the big bands like the Monkees and the Beatles, but the little guys were great, too. The charts could hardly contain all the garage rock, psychedelic, soul, bubblegum, R&B and surf bands.
A new act seemed to pop up every day — and score a huge hit. Let's see if you can remember the acts behind some one-hit wonders from the 1960s. To help, we made up a lot of the band names. See if you can sniff out the true performers like incense and peppermint. Good luck!
