1988 was a leap year, but we hope you didn't leap over all the great songs that were released that year! Some serious hits and important work came out in '88.

1988 gave us a lot. The first Walmart Supercenter opened in Washington, Missouri. A gallon of milk cost $2.30, a loaf of white bread was 60 cents, and a dozen eggs were 89 cents. Back then, a 30-second Super Bowl ad cost $645,000.

But we're here to talk music! Or at least you are when you let us know how much you remember the hits of 1988!

  1. "Faith" was a number 1 single for George Michael after he left which group?
  2. "Need You Tonight" was a huge song in '88, and the signature track for which Australian band?
  3. Which former Beatle scored a hit covering James Ray's "Got My Mind Set on You?"
  4. Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" is the subject of an Internet meme known as which of the following?
  5. "Sweet Child O' Mine," the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 #5 single, features a solo from which guitarist?
  6. Finish these Whitney Houston lyrics: "I get so emotional baby. Every time I think of you. I get so emotional baby. ___________."
  7. As featured in an episode of Black Mirror, "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" is a song by which artist?
  8. "Could've Been" was the second #1 single in a row for which mononymous singer?
  9. "Hands to Heaven" was the international breakthrough hit for which English new wave act?
  10. Steve Winwood's "Roll With It" was the final #1 single presented during which disc jockey's historic run as host of American Top 40?
