9/10 I did pretty good except for Funkytown which I missed. Didn't know when it's a real Disco song.
I remember it from when I was a kid/teen, but there was a great remake of it in 1986 by Pseudo Echo. I was in college, we danced like crazy to that song! Check it out if you haven’t heard it, I like it better than the original.
Never heard of it before, but I will check it out.
My 3rd grade class (in 1981) produced a mock radio program, which we recorded on tape. One of my classmates contributed that song and introduced it saying "Here's Lipps Incorporated. Is this a Funkytown?". It wasn't until many years later that I learned that the group's name was actually a pun on "lip synch".
I've been listening to the 80s Funkytown by Pseudo Echo and it's kinda similar to the original version. But they still got the rhythm in music.

9/10. Missed #8. Didn't go looking for these but if you spent much time at the roller rink in the 70s...

9/10 and comments! [1]The only song to win a disco Grammy! [2]Stupid title! Honestly, you can't be born to be dead! [3]Would you believe they beat Elvis Costello for the New Artist Grammy! [6] MC Hammer ripped it off with "U Can't Touch This", not to mention he stole Prince's method of song titles! [7] No, their big song was "Saturday Was Different"...LOL! [8] My only miss! [10] One of the best song opens ever!

You got 10 out of 10 - Great job! Knew them all but #9 but took an educated guess and guessed correctly. I'll take it!!

7/10, missed #8 , although Crystal Chandeliers is a '67 Country tune by Charlie Pride, it definitely could not be considered "Disco". Thankfully

Yeah I misses that one also.i cry foul on that one never heard Charlie pride do a country sound .
No, he was DEFINITELY a country artist! He beat Beyonce to Nashville by 60 years!
