8 out of 10. Of all the names here, Betty Conner was one I'm not familiar with (and I know most obscure character folks), and I should've known that the Star Trek one was not Grace Lee Whitney, so that's on me.

A couple of people here don't qualify as 'obscure'...Bonnie Franklin and Barbara Hershey.

The first one I got easily because it was a young guy. Jon Lormer and John Larch were older gentlemen. The guy in the pic was much younger, so it had to be Tom Gilleran.

And where was Michael Nader in this quiz? I would have included him!

5/10. Beverly Washburn also played a homely girl in Leave it to Beaver episode “Blind Date Committee.”

I recognized Bonnie Franklin but most of the others were totally obscure to me. One person I did recognize from "Gidget" but who wasn't in the quiz was Daniel J Travanti, the star of "Hill Street Blues". He played a surfer that Gidget develops a major crush on during the summer then becomes her teacher in the fall after school starts again.

9/10. Guessed on a few. Isn't Betty Conner English? I detect an English accent.

Can't say for sure because there's very little info on her in her IMDb bio (no mention of birthdate or birthplace). Also, she pretty much dropped off the radar after Gidget ended in 1966.

9/10. Missed #4. "Gidget" was only on for one season?

10/10. I was coming of age in 1965 so I thought high school would be like it was in Gidget.
Wrong! You can’t surf the Atlantic.
