The Eagles compilation Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) has the distinction of being the first album to receive the RIAA's platinum certification.
Nearly 20 years after it was released, Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) was designated the best-selling album of the 20th century in the United States when it was certified 22x platinum. It then went back-and-forth with Michael Jackson's Thriller before finally retaking the crown.
Whether it's #1 or not, this is certainly an incredible commercial success. So which track is your favorite?
