We're not here to debate which bands should and should not have been included. We'll leave that to you in the comments section.
What we're really here for is to see how well you remember these artists. After all, can they truly be "overrated" if you don't even remember them?

7/10. I only knew two answers, so I guessed at all the rest by picking the first selection on each. More often than not it worked.

10/10 😃! I was a teenager/20 something during the 90s, so I was very plugged in to music of that time. Yes, I would say most of the bands on the list were overrated. Most of them annoyed the bejesus out of me, even back then, but I did love Nirvana.
I went to see Hootie and the Blowfish once. Never could figure out the name of the band. I thought they looked like they just got out of high school. They were pretty good musicians though.
5/10...most of those bands I never ilstened to...
7/10 only knew a couple, the rest were guesses. Don't care for music after the 80s.

I must be older than I thought, because I don't remember hearing any of those, that's right, I'm stuck in the 50's.

9/10 Guessed right on a couple. The only band I like/have seen is Dave Matthews from this list.
7/10…Knew 7 of them, guessed wrong on 2, 3, 7. Never heard of Ace of Base.
