What would you watch on TV in 1969?
It's the end of a decade. What shows would you have been watching?
The Sixties were quite a decade of change. The world was a much different place in 1969 than it was in 1960. That goes for what was on television, too. The small screen went from black & white to full color. There was far more variety, too.
Which begs the question: With all that variety, what would you watch? Here are some schedule selections from the fall of 1969. Which channel are you choosing? See how your selections stack up against others.

What would I be watching on Free TV in 1969? NBC's "LAUGH-IN", "MUSIC SCENE" on ABC, "LOVE AMERICAN STYLE" and "THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER"-both on ABC-TV in Fall 1969-along with the second season of CBS's "HAWAII FIVE-O", "HEE HAW" on CBS (before that network's infamous de-ruralization process in 1971) "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" on CBS, NBC's "THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY", ABC's "LAND OF THE GIANTS" in its second and final TV season, "THE CBS FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES", and then comes Saturday Morning TV with the debut of "THE ARCHIE COMEDY HOUR" on CBS, "THE RELUCTANT DRAGON AND MR. TOAD SHOW" on ABC, "HOT WHEELS & "SKY HAWKS" on ABC. "THE HARDY BOYS" on ABC, and "THE CATTANOOGA CATS SHOW" and "THE ADVENTURES OF GULLIVER", also on ABC, and from there, all the returning Primetime shows from the 1968-69 season-all IN COLOR, and part of Free TV!!
Also left out the 1969 debut of ABC-TV's "MARCUS WELBY, M.D." and CBS's "MEDICAL CENTER" which both debuted that year and both ran until 1976. then there was CBS's "THE GLEN CAMPBELL GOODTIME HOUR", ABC-TV's "THIS IS TOM JONES", and also the last TV season of "GET SMART" that CBS picked-up(and co-produced with Talent Associates, Ltd,) in Fall 1969 after NBC canceled the show at the end of the 1968-69 season.
59% similar. I actually had trouble with 2 of the questions. On one, we would watch "Get Smart" then switch to "The Brady Bunch". On the other - the last one - I wouldn't watch any of them. My brother loved "Dark Shadows"; but, when it started, I would watch "Sesame Street" in my parents' room.
I fell in love with the character Macgyver when I was 13. I watched the show every Monday night till the last show just to see him.
