Marlin and Jim locate an eyrie (nest) of this magnificent bird, and build a blind high on a rocky cliff so they can photograph its nesting habits. Humor and drama are interwoven as the young eagle, in his search for food, follows a skunk into his den…and later finds out that a fast dive at a sitting duck results in his first unwanted bath. His territory is invaded by a forest fire, and the hunting is made easier as the other animals of the valley flee the flames. He is trapped by man in a scientific experiment, but later released to continue his life in the “Valley of Eagles.”"
