Stark but true reality. Guess it's time to nail it down.
They weren't.
They never did.
No reason to.
Plenty of wonderful characters to rotate through out the series.
Different personalities for all kinds of viewers to enjoy.
That's what TV is all about.
And now it's "Classic" TV.
Meaning, something for us to connect with from back when the imagination of writers and producers, still alive, were very creative.
Our best tribute to them, which means appreciation and compliments.
Is to acknowledge their creative and imaginative spirit!!
Just as you do in recalling them frequently.
No harm.
The Creators would probably be flattered that you don't want to let go of them.
But they can only live and exist within those episodes you like.
It's nice to talk about them.
And recall lots of good memories.
But it doesn't change the past.
Or the present.
What about all the others Shows that you might enjoy too?
Think about it. 😉

I personally think that the Celebrity Sunday Cruise is far more fun than the rotating Sunday Block Parties.

Shouldn’t MeTV hold the Christmas episodes until their Very Merry MeTV season.

Fran Ryan took over the role of Mrs. Ziffel because Barbara Pepper died from cancer. Back then, they usually didn't explain a cast member 's exit from a show, and often didn't even acknowledge the cast change.

Well yeah I knew they pulled a Gladys Kravitz but I just thought it strange! At least Oliver should have commented! After all, didn't he once say he felt like he was in The Twilight Zone...LOL! Oh come on, when I use LOL, you know I'm being funny!

"Surprised they are not doing a love boat marathon instead."

They did a Sunday Block Party last November, for The Love Boat.
Enjoy the show but don't need another Marathon though. Their current promo
" Sunday Celebrity Cruise", the use of the term " Cruise" is enough.

Although I personally am not a Love Boat fan, I agree that it would have been fitting for Valentine's week. I kind of hope that they do some Sunday block parties again in the future because once in a while I enjoy an in-depth broadcast of one program, but sometimes it is nice to have some stability in the weekend schedule too.

I enjoyed when they focused on one program last summer with the " Sunday Block Party." It would be fun if they returned with that next Summer. However for Valentines Day or @ least the holiday, I think it's good their highlighting different programs as opposed to 1. It seems Sunday is their choice day for doing such promos, They don't generally toy with the weekday/weeknight schedule unless it is a program change, Ie: when the A- Team was added, When The Beverly Hillbillies was expanded, Etc...Weigel Broadcasting ( the parent company of MeTV) is very strategic in their programing schedules as MeTV represents a wide variety of Series, as opposed to Decades, H&I, startTV, where programming is more specific. Decades has done the Binge or Weekend Binge format for quite some time focusing on (1) program on the weekends, that's great for those who want to see a marathon of one program. I'm glad they don't follow that format on MeTV as I enjoy the variety they offer, not only M-F but the weekend as well.
