About Amanda Conner

Amanda Conner began her comics career with Marvel Comics’ Solo Avengers, leading to work on Marvel’s Barbie comics line and Disney’s Gargoyles comics. That quickly led to her working with the top writers in the field, such as Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, Warren Ellis and Garth Ennis on titles such as X-Men, Vampirella, Two-Step, and her creator-owned Eisner-nominated one shot, The Pro.

Since then, Amanda has illustrated many of the top comics in the industry; Supergirl, Painkiller Jane, Wonder Woman, Powergirl, Terra, Gatecrasher, Mad Magazine, and so much more. She was the co-writer and artist along with Darwyn Cooke on the Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre, and since has worked with her writer husband co-writing and illustrating the Harley Quinn series for DC COMICS and her own creator series BOOM-POW, featured on Zestworld.

Her art has been featured on shows such as Nightline and the Big Bang Theory and was also featured at the Geppi Museum in Baltimore. She currently has her work in a globally traveling exhibition showcasing the art of DC Comics.

Design Inspiration

Amanda Conner found her love for horror movies at a very young age, watching them on Saturday afternoons with her dad, and her love of comics when pilfering comic magazines… also from her dad.
