About Mark Spears

Mark Spears is an award-winning artist whose work has appeared on covers for Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, King Spawn, Scorched, Vampirella, and Red Sonja. His artwork made an appearance in the 2022 "Spirit Halloween" movie while also doing the artwork for the movie's poster and DVD box art. His work has been featured on multiple trading card series from Marvel and DC Comics and his concept art was used to design a line of Marvel statues. Mark's Batman art was used for statues and figurines for DC Comics. He is the creator of Mark Spears Monsters and has released two trading card series under this brand. Mark won the "Artist of the Year" in 2020 for Rondo Hatton Horror Awards and was runner up in 2021. He was also nominated three years in a row for "Best Magazine Cover".

Design Inspiration

"Being a HUGE Svengoolie fan, I wanted to convey the three things I picture in my head when I think about the show. Svengoolie, Fun and Monsters! This has been such a thrill for me and I am so honored to have been asked to do it."
