Are these scenes from The Waltons or Star Trek?

Both series showed the past in different ways.

On the surface, classic family drama The Waltons and iconic sci-fi series Star Trek don’t seem to have much in common. One is a show about a group of characters who make discoveries but sometimes turn on each other while ultimately striving to answer life's biggest questions. And the other is Star Trek!

But both shows portray the past, specifically the years before World War II. The first few seasons of The Waltons are set in the 1930s and Captain Kirk and Co. visit places reminiscent of Earth, either by actually traveling through time or visiting a planet very much like prohibition-era America.

Here are scenes from both shows that look very similar. Can you tell them apart?

16 for 16. I gave Grandma Walton some of Scotty's Romulan Ale stash and she spilled the beans.
Not sure Grandma Walton would really have appreciated Romulan Ale, but I'm absolutely sure Grandpa Walton would have!

Hi Mirramanee,
Well you don't know Grandma Walton, she was a right goer in her salad days, she along with Blondie Bumstead formed a fan dancing act working the medicine show circuit.
(actually that was Blondie's background bio)
