Hey, number 11 is not correct. Both Alda and Farr served in Korea, but AFTER the cessation of hostilities. Let the truth be known.

Jamie Farr met Red Skelton while he was serving in Korea.
They became friendly, and Skelton invited him to Hollywood after the war ended.
Jamie Farr's first TV appearances were on Red Skelton's show, playng foil in comedy skits; Red did a Navy cook called Cookie, and Jamie was his sidekick Snorkel.
And the rest is history ...
