For #3, Betty White was born in Oak Park, IL and the family moved to California when she was barely 1 year old. She was born in West Suburban Hospital
For #7, Dick Van Dyke was born in West Plaines, Missouri and not in Illinois (he and Jerry grew up in Danville). Bob Newhart is the only one in that group born in Illinois and he was born in Oak Park, IL at West Suburban Hospital just like Betty White.

Don't feel bad if you got a little turned around. Some of these TV stars became awfully fond of other places.

Can anyone explain why METV changed how they went about asking where so and so was from? I don't think there would have been any confusion, {or mistakes on METV's part,} had they asked all of the questions the same way that they asked about David. Which country was he from? I think METV was trying to be cute and clever in the way they wound up asking the questions. For example, instead of having Betty White, Bob Newhart and Dick Van Dyke in two separate questions, they could have had them in one. The question might have read: "Which one was not born in the same city?" or "Which two were born in the same city?" Something like that. I don't recall them having done this before: start a quiz by asking questions one way, then after a couple, the format changes. To quote Vinnie Barbarino: "I'm so confused!"

I was lucky to get 3 right, guessed at all of them. I could have googled them, I guess...lol
