I was able to answer them, but only because I set my DVR to record this Sunday's block of Hitchcock. All but 2 of the episodes in this quiz were among the ones shown today. I checked the monologue of each one & then took the quiz. Then I watched the episodes. 😁 "All's fair in....", right? The last two were tricky, though. I don't know if I've seen those.

1/10. Never done this bad on a quiz before.

A brief shout-out for James Allardice, who wrote Hitchcock's monologues for the whole ten-year run of the series.
Fun Fact:
While Allardice was writing Hitch's host spots, he also wrote many sitcom episodes for series like The Munsters.

Yep, and would you believe he wrote multiple scripts for My 3 Sons? He died in 1966, a year after TAHH ended?

Meant to put exclamation point in the second sentence, not question mark! Posted too fast again!

Six. I watch AHP regularly, but don't pay much attention to the monologues.

I could only muster up 6 out of 10. I like watching him before and after the episode but hardly remember names of them.

5/10. My mom loved this show.

2/10! But this isn't a fair quiz as Hitchcock's philosophy was that the intro had nothing to do with the story and even said so on multiple occasions!

3 / 10. Really, really tough quiz because the filler opening and closing section rarely had anything to do with the episode's theme.
