Pamelyn Ferdin was in this episode. She was in many movies; Daughter of The Mind (movie of the week) and with Clint Eastwood's Beguiled. Also played the voice of Lucy in "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" Over 200 credited tv & commercial roles plus was in 40 feature films.

Hated this episode. Gets my vote for worst of the 3 seasons with Turnabout Intruder running a close second.

10/10. Agreed. Those two episodes are lousy along with Spock's brain and Eden.

I usually hover at 6/10, or 5/10. I can't remember the last time I saw this episode, nor recall only what the questions triggered, but still ended up with a record 9/10! I recall that red-headed boy, and my prepubescent crush, Pamelyn Ferdin (swoon)

Hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas, or still enjoying Hannukah! All the best to all for 2025!

10/10. There were quite a few on here that didn't like this episode. I thought it was one of the best episodes. And I didn't know that Melvin Belli (Gorgan) was a high priced LA attorney.

Dudes you don’t understand what was going on in the 60’s I lived in it, there was a great change happening, and this episode brought it to light, that a change was coming, and the young people were the threat to lead it. But the establishment was afraid bratified them and curtailed it. Gene Roddenberry had a great insight into the future. He hoped the new generation would lead it.

9/10 I couldn't remember who was going to shoot Kirk.
One of the children in this episode, Steve, was played by (Melvin) Caesar Belli. He was the son of Melvin Belli (the Gorgon).
