7/10 There's something to be said about a well-placed guess.

10/10, great episode, actually the very first Star Trek episode I saw (while visiting with my cousins in Chicago). Also, pretty much the plot for Star Trek The Motion Picture later on.

10/10. To put it simply, one of the BEST Trek episodes! Nomad...a machine completely programmed for pure, total logic.

10/10 One of my favorite episodes definitely in the top ten list, in my opinion. Watched it last month!
So many great lines.

Scotty- " What kind of intelligent life could exist in a thing that small!"
Nomad-"Creator is this one of your biological units, it is different it is well ordered"

You have good taste, it is a Convair F-106A Delta Dart. The Vulcan Bomber is also a delta wing Configured aircraft, and she is a real beauty too!

Thank you deltadart.
I remember seeing the Vulcan Bomber at the Cleveland International Air show years ago, back in the late 70's I think.
The pilots even showed the crowd the belly of the huge aircraft and opened up its bomb bay doors for the crowd. It was so awsome. A "Fascinating" aircraft. So is ur Convair F-106A Delta Dart. 🖖🖖🖖

I remember thinking that the huge aircraft looked as if it was flying in slow motion somehow. "HIGHLY FASCINATING" 🖖🖖🖖✈🛩

10/10. Writer John Meredyth Lucas originally had his story about a robot ship called the Mariner which was designed to think for itself. It suffered serious damage when it collided with a meteoroid.
Vic Perrin, the Control Voice from The Outer Limits voiced Nomad.
Episode director Marc Daniels posed for the picture of Nomad creator Jackson Roykirk, wearing Scotty's red dress uniform top.
These Are The Voyages TOS: Season Two by Marc Cushman with Susan Osborn.
