Did these LIFE magazine covers hit newsstands in the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s?
Put these pictures in the correct decade.
LIFE was the photographic chronicle of American pop culture for nearly a century. The magazine released its first issue when Chester A. Arthur was president, and continued printing on a weekly basis through the early 1970s.
But we here at MeTV have a particular affinity for the 1950s, '60s and '70s, which got us thinking — can you recognize the decade from its magazine covers?
Take a look at these eye-grabbing LIFE covers and choose the correct year. Good luck!

6 for 10. Please bring back WKRP soon.
7/10 Missed 3 (didn't think that skirt was 1958), 7 and 9 (should have known for Bob Hope's wrinkles)
Had to zoom in to be able to read what was on the cover. Hope that isn't considered cheating but can't see worth a darn.
Now if you had done TV Guide covers instead ... I might actually have gotten one right!! Probably all of them.
oh when one could buy a magazine that was not a puppet of the Left.........those times are gone!
10/10. Possessing a special issue which showcased each and every cover during its run helps tremendously. Didn't need it, though. Too many clues and a good memory.
