How well do you remember the Thanksgiving episode of M*A*S*H?
What's turkey without a little M*A*S*H on the side?
Because M*A*S*H was set during the Korean War, the show did not have a traditional family-gathers-for-a-feast Thanksgiving episode. No, things go a little differently, and more awry, in the 4077. (The peaceful gathering would have to wait for "Thanksgiving of '53," a holiday episode of the spin-off series AfterMASH.)
In "The Yalu Brick Road," a Thanksgiving dinner leads to some real belly-aching.
Let's see how well you remember this M*A*S*H comedy cornucopia.
-
Which particular Thanksgiving dish gave everyone food poisoning?
-
Do Margaret and Winchester get sick?
-
Who procured the food that made everyone sick?
-
What is the specific bacteria that made everyone sick?
-
"The Yalu Brick Road" is not only a Thanksgiving episode, it is also the first appearance of this M*A*S*H character.
-
Where are Hawkeye and B.J. going?
-
Potter says, "I feel like _________ with a house full of sick dwarfs."
-
What name does Hawkeye give the North Korean soldier they encounter?
-
This M*A*S*H cast member wrote the episode.
-
What is the name of the sergeant who supplied the spoiled food?

I would have gotten 100%, except that I missed Question #9. The correct answer was "MIKE FARRELL", but I thought that it was "ALAN ALDA". SILLY ME! LOL!

Just saw the episode 1 hr ago. Guess my 100% doesn't count!
MeTV should get AfterMASH and give M*A*S*H a break for a month (or show one M*A*S*H and one AfterMASH in an hour). I'm surprised that it has never been shown in thirty years (at least I've never seen it or heard it was being aired on cable or broadcast). If Antenna TV can show The Ropers and Three's A Crowd in addition to Three's Company and Hallmark has shown The Golden Palace during the run of The Golden Girls then someone could show AfterMASH (including the episode CBS didn't air). Perhaps 20th Television doesn't want to release it for reruns?
This article might help explain other reasons for the syndication hesitation.
