Is this Eighties nightmare from The Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt?
Try to tell apart the terror television masters.
The 1985 reboot of The Twilight Zone revived old demons and introduced new nightmares to the franchise. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Tales from the Crypt delivered even more chills.
One leaned into human morals, the other into the macabre. Think you can tell these distinct chills apart?
Scroll through scenes featuring demons, aliens, ghouls, vampires and other unspeakable horrors and see if you can match each nightmare to the correct Eighties series. Good luck!

10/12. A bit of trivia: all three of the previous versions of "The Twilight Zone" featured an episode where someone travels back in time and tries to prevent a famous assassination. In the original "TTZ", Russell Johnson (The Professor from "Gilligan's Island" goes back to the night of Lincoln's assassination in "Back There". In the Eighties show episode "Profile in Silver", Lane Smith plays a time-traveling history professor who goes to Dallas, November 22, 1963 just as Kennedy (played by "Dirty Harry" villain Andrew Robinson) is riding through Dealey Plaza. Finally, in the 2002-3 "Zone", Eriq LaSalle stars in (and directs) "Memphis". LaSalle plays a cancer patient who is transported to the eponymous city the day before Martin Luther King, Jr.'s murder. I wonder if the current show will have a similar episode.
10 out of 12. Guessed on all, never caught these shows when they aired. Is "Tales From the Crypt" coming to MeTV? These would be great on Sci-Fi Saturdays, as I don't much care for the silly space programs and all that jive.
