Jimi Hendrix: Fill in the blanks!

Are You Experienced?

 The Everett Collection

If you have a Mount Rushmore of guitarists, Jimi Hendrix has to be on it.

You can debate all day who the greatest of all time is. Sure, Chuck Berry was a pioneer. Yes, Jimmy Page did some incredibly sophisticated things with his axe.

But nobody has ever done more to innovate with the instrument than James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix. He was able to express more with his guitar than anyone before him. Hendrix is the fulcrum that marked a turning point in guitar music. There's before Jimi, and then there's everything after. Prince, Eddie Van Halen, Carlos Santana— every great guitarist thereafter cites Jimi Hendrix as a key influence.

So, let's see how well you know Hendrix and his tunes. We'll give you a hint at a title, and it's your job to figure out what's missing. Good luck, and be sure to share your score in the comments section below.

  1. "_______ Haze"
  2. "________ Child"
  3. "The Wind Cries _________"
  4. "________ Joe"
  5. "_________ Traffic"
  6. "Stone _______"
  7. "_________ Depression"
  8. "Foxy _______"
  9. "Bold as _______"
  10. "_____ House"

🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 Ten upside down Stratocasters! I've been experienced since 1967. My older sister was a freshman in college and left a couple of his albums at our house after a visit, much to my delight. My parents? Not so much.
