These rock stars popped into the stu-stu-studio.

Eighties television rocked! For starters, the "M" in MTV actually stood for music. Yes, kids, MTV used to show music videos! It was like YouTube on your TV!

But the pop invasion did not stop there. Many big music stars made acting cameos on hit television shows, too.

I remember the first time I saw the B-52s: SNL, January 26th, 1980. Teri Garr was the host, and the band performed "Rock Lobster" and "Dance This Mess Around."

I totally remember that! Good times for sure! The 80s was a fun time and it’s my favorite decade!! I will welcome back the new wave music/big hair and Valley girl clothes any day!
