However, he was so impressed by Fess Parker as the "Crazy Texan Pilot", that he chose him for the part. More trivia can be found here. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047573/trivia/?ref_=tt_trv_trv

Wicked Wednesday Movie-The Fly
The Fly (1958) 1 hr 33 min-Drama--Horror--Sci-Fi
Neat, if hokey, "The Fly" does teach us an important lesson about being careful when performing experiments. The plot of course has Montreal scientist Andre Delambre (Al/David Hedison) discovering how to transport matter at light speed, and then transporting himself with a fly, thereby getting its head and claw---Yuck!
.
Director
Kurt Neumann
Stars
David Hedison--Patricia Owens--Vincent Price
Nice Copy-

10/10
8 put of 10. I never watched 8 or 9. I guessed on the other westerns. I can remember Harper Valley PTA.
5/10
The only shows I really remember her in are "I Dream of Jeannie" and that episode of "The Andy Griffith Show."
And I liked her better in that one episode of TAGS than in IDOJ as a whole.
