Can you guess if these scenes are from the M*A*S*H TV show or movie?

For serious M*A*S*H fans, the difference is black & white.

After the M*A*S*H movie became one of 20th Century Fox's biggest hits of the 1970s, it was only natural to do a TV series – and the groundbreaking TV show that resulted arguably became even more popular than the film.
Fans know that when the TV show debuted in 1972, it shared much in tone and writing style with the movie, with both being based on the book by the same name. But as the television show stretched from season to season, it began to grow into its own thing.

Today, the movie and the TV show have firmly different legacies, but for casual fans or fans of just one over the other, it might be hard to tell the difference between the M*A*S*H camp from the big screen and the one that gripped us on the small screen.

Because the movie scenes are filtered with a greenish tint, we knew this quiz would be too easy for serious M*A*S*H fans, though, so we decided to make it into a real M*A*S*H challenge and convert scenes from both the TV show and the movie into black & white.

Think you can tell the difference between these separate M*A*S*H properties, even with all the color removed? That's your mission today! Good luck!

15/16...13 was ambiguous... could not tell if that was movie Margret (Sally Kellerman) or Dr Inga from the TV version played by Mariette Hartley.

15/16. The scenes with Radar in them could throw some people off, because Gary Burghoff played the character in both the movie and the nTV series.

16/16 Easy if you have seen both--different actors in all the roles except Radar.

There actually was another. The actor who played an orderly in the movie (Timothy Brown as Cpl. Judson) played "Spearchucker" Jones in the TV series (although very briefly). Brown acted again for Altman as singer Tommy Brown (modeled after Charlie Pride) in Nashville. There also were two other actors who did both the movie and TV series, but they were in smaller roles (G. Wood, and Corey Fischer).
