"The Cage" was Trek's first pilot. But it never aired in its entirety on tv as part of the run. Let alone as the first episode.

Star Trek is not the only sci-fi Saturday mistake here. "No Place To Hide" is the unseen LIS pilot. The correct answer is "The Reluctant Stowaway""!
