Was this a classic Superman villain or a classic TV character actor?

You have to be a genius like Lex Luthor to ace this one.

Who comes across more clever names — comic book writers or casting directors?

After this quiz, the answer is uncertain. Some character actors who appeared across classic television had wonderful names, ones that sounded like fictional characters from the DC universe. Well, they were real.

We sprinkled them in with some vintage Superman villains. Try to sort them! No x-ray vision needed.

8/13. The only ones I've heard of are Chill Wills and Solomon Grundy.

8 for 13. Why is Cheerio Meredith's picture in every question? It seems the person in question, such as Chill Wills, was meant to be there.
I have a question, as I have only seen the original Superman TV series and the Chris Reeves movies.
Was "Inspector Henderson" only in the original series? I thought he was great and as a kid was my idea of a cop.

Hmm… maybe some of them were in disguise as their alter ego. Better luck next time!
After reading the comments, I don't feel so bad.
I've got a lot of company.
Good job, guys/girls.

8 out of 13. Never was much of a Superman fan. How 'bout some Marvel quizzes like about Spider-Man, the X-Men, or Fantastic Four? I know quite a bit about them.

12 for 13. Missed Cactus Mack (c'mon, tell me that doesn't sound like a comic book villain lol)

I thought I knew my Superman villain's, but apparently not.
Although, I thought Vril Dox was "Brainiac 5" who is from the "Legion of Super Heroes" in the 30th century and was Superboy's/Superman's friend.
But, upon further reflection, I realized that Superboy's/Superman's friend was Querl Dox who was Vril's descendant - Brainiac 5.
The others I just did not recognize so I guessed.

13 out of 13. I know my Superman villains, but I know my character actors even better, and that was what got me through this one!

Guich Koock was a regular on the sitcom "Carter Country" (1977-79).

I remember him and the way my dad pronounced his name, Geech ( rhyming with Cheech ) Keach, had me thinking he was related to Stacey Keach briefly, I started 7th grade in 1977.
