It could be argued that classic TV star Eddie Albert is best remembered for his role as Oliver Wendell Douglas from the hit rural comedy Green Acres. 

It's a strong argument, as Albert starred in the role for six seasons, and played the role in other Hooterville-universe shows like The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. 

Albert had a wide-range of acting skills however, and they frequently turned up all across classic television. He could be seen in other comedies, Westerns, dramas and even anthology. He was one of the most famous actors of his time, and prided himself on showing his best effort, and pouring his emotions into his craft.
