One of the best parts about having a favorite show is seeing how it progresses through the series. Watching how characters develop and change, or which characters leave is generally determined on how long the series runs.
Every classic TV fan knows how many seasons their favorite show or shows had. MeTV viewers are dedicated and we venture to guess they even know exactly how many episodes their favorite shows had!
Some shows are one-season-wonders, others ran for over 10 years! Some shows had the same number of seasons and it took an episode count to decide which one was on the longest.

If a show airs from September to June, doesn't that make it 3 seasons per year? Fall, winter and spring.

Batman premiered in January, so it only had 2 1/2 seasons not 3.
It was a mid-season replacement so you count that as one season.
Not that it would have helped me much, but I really hate it when I go to click on an answer and the screen jumps at the last millisecond, causing the click to register an answer I didn't want to choose! It's especially aggravating when I know for sure what the correct answer is! My 10 out of 15 should have been 11 out of 15, but I'll admit there were several lucky guesses.

They are wrong about the Jetsons, they had 3 not 1. They had more shows in the 80s. But still Flintstones had more though.
Well as far as METV and various reference books are concerned only the ABC episodes count! Remember those later episodes NEVER ran in prime time! And if you're going to split hairs, there were more than 6 seasons of Flintstones if you count spinoffs such as Pebbles & Bam Bam!
