MeTV honors Diahann Carroll and Rip Taylor with special select programming this Sunday
Tune in for these special episodes honoring their work on MeTV
This Sunday, October 13, MeTV celebrates the work of passed icons Diahann Carroll and Rip Taylor.
First up, MeTV remembers Taylor in a special episode of The Monkees at 5PM (4C). When the boys take a trip to Las Vegas, they are mistaken for a group of crooked gamblers. Bringing a heaping helping of silliness with him, Taylor delights in "The Monkees on the Wheel".
Then, MeTV remembers Carroll on a special episode of The Love Boat airing at 6PM (5C). When jazz singer Roxy Blue (Carroll) boards the ship, Bartender Isaac Washington (played by Ted Lange) can't help but let his fondness show! The two embrace a whirlwind romance and Carroll dazzles in a musical number.

R.I.P Rip Taylor one of my favorite actors.He was in my favorite episode of The Monkees "The Frodis Caper." I'll miss him.

I was afraid you had forgotten Rip Taylor, but thankfully you didn't! I am disappointed you didn't honor Diahann Carroll with episodes of Julia, especially since one of them featured a pre-Cindy Susan Olsen!
They can only show something they have the rights to broadcast.
