A wealthy old lady has no great love for her family- that is, all but her favorite niece- and her most loyal friend, her pet cat Tabitha. When she is murdered (with the cat as the only witness)- her family puts out word that she has "disappeared"- and gleefully anticipates cashing in on the inheritance of her fortune- as the old lady's scheming hubby manipulates his relatives and servants- and , realizing that the cat has been witness to all the nasty stuff going on,decides that the kitty has to be gotte...
