Humor and drama are interwoven as the young eagle, in his search for food, follows a skunk into his den…and later finds out that a fast dive at a sitting duck results in his first unwanted bath. His territory is invaded by a forest fire, and the hunting is made easier as the other animals of the valley flee the flames. Granny says that she has the ability to cure it with one spoonful of “cold cure.” She makes her cold cure to share with Dr. Clyburn, but he turns her down and mean-mouths her. So she decides to start her own doctor’s office and use her cold cure to treat folks.

Lisa's brought along movie-props authority Dan Gastin to both appraise Patrick's collection, then to try and tempt him into a trade for one of its choicest items. And fair warning: Dan's more than ready to keep going to the mat for what he's after!"

When an unscrupulous black real-estate salesman, Mr. Byrd, offers Archie a hefty sum of money for his home, Archie is all for it despite Mike's warnings that Byrd is a blockbuster (someone who persuades white home-owners to sell by appealing to the fear that minority groups will move into the neighborhood causing property values to decline).
