In Memoriam: TV people we lost in 2018
We said goodbye to Burt Reynolds, Ken Berry, Charlotte Rae and other beloved actors.
Quint Asper and Mrs. Garrett. Vinton Harper and Charles Emerson Winchester III. These characters will endure in the land of television. Sadly, the brilliant actors that brought these blacksmiths, dormitory housemothers and surgeons to life are no longer with us as of 2018.
Many memorable performers from classic series such as Star Trek, The Andy Griffith Show and Gunsmoke passed away over the past year. We turn to spotlight on their careers in this memorial. We also pay tribute to writers, creators, musicians, sound designers and other crew members that helped craft these enduring gems. May they all rest in peace.

My last pay check was $8500 working 1o hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is wha I do...... www.Your70.com
Nanette Fabray (1920 - 2018), Broadway star, semi-regular on "One Day at a Time," frequent "Hollywood Squares" panelist, and aunt of Shelley Fabares ("The Donna Reed Show," "Coach").
I sure would like to see Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley on a regular basis...when METV put those shows on this month, I was sooooo happy! Came on just in time as I also lost my 16 yr old Boston Terrier, Sami, this month...Thank you for that! More please....
Click on photo of Burt where you see the arrow, and all 71 Beloved souls' obituaries are there. Lovely Tribute.
So many wonderful people passed this year. Rest In Peace. Thank you all for being my family. 😔❤️🌹

Daily most fame from I Dream of Jeanie but directed alot episodes of MASH, Two and 1/2 Men long list of others up until his death. Many comedies shows are still on and so many others directed in reruns. Just watch for his name in directed by opening credits and closing credits as well. Funny man, brilliant director and loved by the actors he directed. Huge comedy TV talent in Hollywood!
How could you miss Katherine MacGregor, TV's Mrs. Oleson?
I notice that MeTV publishes separate articles each time we have the passing of one of our cherished TV stars - these are all linked in as you page through this pictorial.
But these separate articles should also be linked in as part of the regular emails MeTV sends out every week. This way we as fans know the events as they occur, and can also pay tributes as they occur.

Thanks for honoring each of these actors/actresses. Some I'd heard about over the course of the year. Some I had not. It's nice to remember them. Of this list, I remember fondly lots of good programming I watched, enjoying actors like Soon-Tek Oh and others. In keeping with Star Trek's fame at being the most quotable show in the universe, Celeste Yarnall will always be remembered for one of her lines "But how is it----done?" 8-) And of course, the beloved Roy Clark, whom I spent many many years watching on Hee Haw and miss him.
